Where to Watch the World Cup: McDuffy’s Grille in Chandler

McDuffy’s Grille will open at 7 a.m. for any First Round World Cup match in which the United States, Mexico, or England is playing. They will also open early for confirmed groups of 12 or more. Otherwise, McDuffy’s will open at 11 a.m. and will air all World Cup matches that are on during normal operating hours. They will also show replays of matches that are aired later in the day. Their operating schedule may be subject to change after the conclusion of the first round. (more…)

Where to Watch the 2010 World Cup: Upper Deck Sports Grill

Upper Deck Sports Grill was recommended by some of our members as a great site for a soccer viewing party.

Upper Deck’s regular hours are 10 a.m. to 2 a.m., Monday – Sunday. For the World Cup, they will open as early as 6 a.m. for groups, if needed. They will show all matches (including replays) that are on during operating hours. (more…)

Where to Watch the World Cup – Spice’s Mediterranean Kitchen

Spices Mediterranean Kitchen will show all 2010 World Cup matches (including replays) that are aired during their regular business hours: Mon.-Thur. 11 am-8 pm, Fri. 11 am-9 pm, and Sat. 12 pm-8 pm. The restaurant has three TVs: one 42-inch and two 28-inch screens. Matches will be shown on all TVs and some will be in high definition. Sound will be available for the matches. (more…)

Shakespeare’s Pub is a 200+-seat pub and restaurant in the Dana Park Shopping Center that is owned by the same British guys who own Churchill’s Pub & Grill in Chandler. The pub has a large bar with a comfortable seating area in the rear that will be excellent for World Cup match viewing and can accommodate large groups. (more…)

Churchill’s Pub & Grill is a soccer-centric British pub and restaurant that has been a frequent site of MLS PHOENIX RISING viewing parties since 2007. Our viewing parties for all Saturday USA qualifiers during the 2010 World Cup final qualifying cycle were held at Churchill’s. The pub was also the site of a very well-attended viewing party for the 2009 Confederations Cup Final and numerous U.S. exhibitions and MLS matches. (more…)
