Where to Watch the 2010 World Cup: Buffalo Wings & Rings in Chandler

// June 9th, 2010 // No Comments » // Where to watch the World Cup, World Cup

Buffalo Wings & Rings (BWR) was the site of MLS PHOENIX RISING’s viewing parties for all Wednesday U.S. qualifiers during the Hex. It has been a strong supporter of MLSPR’s activities and has even contributed food to our tailgates.

BWR plans to open at 7 a.m. for all early matches involving USA, Mexico, or European teams. Their regular hours are 11 a.m. until midnight or 1 a.m. They plan to show all matches (including replays) that are on during operating hours. World Cup viewing will be the primary viewing activity at BWR when the live matches are on.

BWR has 18 TVs, with two on their patio. They have a mix of 50-inch and 42-inch screens and most are high definition. Sound will be provided for all of the matches.

For the World Cup, BWR added Carlsburg on tap and is working on adding a few more European drafts. They will have 27 beers on tap–mostly craft selections–by June 11th. They will have special beer prices during all U.S. matches and their food specials will be posted on their website.

BWR has free wi-fi and numerous outlets and invites soccer fans to hang out and multi-task or use BWR as their home office during the World Cup matches.
